Originally hailing from Shropshire, England,

John-Luke went on to study at the world-renowned Royal Northern College of Music where he graduated with a BMus (Hons) in Performance.

Having navigated significant embouchure difficultes through exploration of trumpet pedagogical methods, John-Luke now shares his expertise with others. 

​

He is presently the Director of Music at the University of Dundee alongside working as an Associate Tutor of Trumpet at St Andrews University.  John-Luke is also a qualified and NCPS Accredited psychotherapist.
