Orchestras
In Scotland, I have worked with several ensembles including the North East Fife Orchestra, University of Dundee orchestra.

During my time directing the University of Dundee Orchestra, I have worked to enhance engagement and improve the standard through dedicated and high calibre rehearsing. In my first rehearsal, the ensemble was on the brink of collapse with only 7 members. Now we have a 40+ strong orchestra capable of delivering complex repertoire.
We have tackled repertoire from composers including: Bernstein, Stanford, Bruckner, Haydn, and many more
Brass Ensembles
I offer chamber music tuition at the Laidlaw Music Centre at St Andrews University where I work closely with the Trumpet Ensemble and the Scholarship Brass Quintet. I advise them on ensemble skills and rehearsal technique. I also play and direct the Dundee University Brass Quintet.
Big Band
For over 6 years, I have been the musical director of the Dundee University Big band. During my tenure, i have expanded and developed the gigging repertoire greatly, with a a very high turn-over of new charts. Additionally, I have added several external engagements to the regular gigging calendar including headline slots at the Dundee Jazz Festival. A highlight of my experience with the band was an impromptu performance live of BBC Radio 1 for the opening of the Radio 1 exhibition at the V&A Dundee.
Brass Band
I am employed as the Professional Conductor of the Tullis Russell Mills Band, one of the most prestigious and historic bands in Fife, Scotland. Supporting the resident conductor, I offer intense periods of band training and direction in preparation for competitions.
Choral
Having been involved in choral singing since childhood, I have always been drawn to the natural beauty of perfectly blended choral voices. I initially started out conducting the local community choir in my home town. For the past 4 years, I have been responsible for directing the University of Dundee choir and Chamber Choir; covering repertoire from musicals to motets and everything in between. I am responsible for programming, rehearsing and organsing these ensembles. We have a regular partnership with St Andrews RC Cathedral where we provide a Missa Cantata. As musical director, we have made recordings which have been broadcast nationally on BBC Radio Scotland
