I teach using the following pedagogies: Stamp, Maggio, Clarke, Caruso, Collins, Gordon, Reinhardt

I specialise in embouchure development and performance psychology. I teach in person at my studio in Springfield, Cupar or alternatively online.

Initial consultation sessions are offered free of charge. Lesson fees are £25 for half-hour and £45 for an hour.

I have a PVG certificate

Associate Tutor of Trumpet. John-Luke offers 1-1 private tuition to students, including chamber music scholars, and local community. He also directs the university trumpet ensemble and the scholarship Brass Quintet

Angus Council

Tutoring primary and secondary school students across Angus on a peripatetic basis. Supporting students through ABRSM exams, Nat 5s and Highers. I tutored all brass including tuba, trombone and french horn.

in 2012 I was invited to join the team at Telford Music School where I offered tutorage to brass students of all abilities.
